What we create

Some projects are not a show with a start time; they are a place that has to look right for one evening, a week or a whole season. We light facades, landscapes and venues: buildings and their details, walkways, waterfronts, gardens, pool terraces and private houses. The scheme starts with the architecture itself, so colour and texture follow the material and the form rather than being applied over them.

We design around the approach and the sightlines, deciding what a guest sees first from the road, the water or the entrance, and what is held back until they are closer. From there it is practical work: fixture selection and positions, photometric studies, weatherproofing and cable routes, control and scene programming for the hours the place is in use, then installation, commissioning and coordination with the venue, the building owner and the other trades on site.

What we can bring together

  • Architectural and facade lighting schemes
  • Coastal, waterfront and venue lighting
  • Landscape lighting: gardens, grounds and pool terraces
  • Approach, arrival and sightline studies
  • Colour, texture and material-led light
  • Photometric studies and on-site mock-ups
  • Fixture selection, positions and mounting details
  • Weatherproofing, IP-rated fixtures and cable routes
  • Control systems, scheduling and scene programming
  • Installation, commissioning and site coordination
  • Maintenance visits through the run

Events it suits

  • Seasonal and city programmes
  • Corporate headquarters and campuses
  • Retail and hospitality destinations
  • Hotels, restaurants and beach clubs
  • Public realm and community spaces
  • Private houses and grounds

What we need from you to plan it

  1. Site drawings, or an opportunity to survey
  2. How long the scheme has to stay up
  3. Power availability and access for maintenance
  4. Wind, weather and public-safety constraints
  5. Permission from the building or land owner
  6. The hours the place is in use, and how it should look in each

Planning questions

Can a scheme be reused next season?
Often yes, if it is designed for reuse from the start. Standard fixtures, permanent mounting points and cable routes left in place cost more the first time and considerably less the second.
Do you handle permits?
We prepare the technical documentation a permit application needs, including drawings, loadings and electrical detail, and work alongside whoever holds the relationship with the authority or the landlord.
